Job gains in Moncton area

MONCTON – New Brunswick added 2,300 jobs in October with most of the gains made in the Moncton area, according to the latest figures from Statistics Canada.

September 7, 2017,  FREDERICTON (GNB) – The‎ provincial government is organizing a series of job fairs across the province and across Canada in the coming months to recruit new workers to fill job vacancies.

“Creating jobs and growing our economy is our focus as your government,” said Premier Brian Gallant.

Express Entry Draw Invites 3,264 Candidates to Apply for Immigration to Canada

The first Express Entry draw in three weeks took place on August 2, with 3,264 candidates in the pool receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence. Invited candidates each had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 441 or above

Moncton’s Jobless Rate Drops to 5 Per Cent, Saint John’s Jumps to 6.3

Saint John’s unemployment rate increased from May to June, and Moncton’s dropped, but both cities still had lower rates than the rest of the province, according to the latest figures from Statistics Canada.

Canada’s generous immigration policy allows the spouse and minor children of international students to accompany them to Canada to work and study. In this way, a student’s entire close family can benefit from a Canadian experience.
